You're invited to Paper Trail.

Once a month, a dozen or so painters, illustrators, and designers close their laptops, open their sketchbooks, and show each other what they've been working on.

No panels. No juries. Just a table, some tea, and people who'll look closely at your work because they know what it costs to make.

Bring something unfinished. That's the only rule.

What happens in the room

First Sunday

Open Studio

Everyone works quietly, side by side, on whatever they're already in the middle of. Good coffee. Better company. No pressure to talk about it unless you want to.

Third Thursday

Crit Night

Bring one piece. Get feedback from people who also make things for a living, or in spite of it. Twenty minutes each, no exceptions, no ego.

Twice a year

Small Shows

One wall in the room turns into a gallery for a weekend. Everyone hangs a single piece. Friends and neighbors wander in. Nothing is for sale.
